pvp Beating MANASHIELD

<p>Im only a 28 now and would like to know what tactics you pvp coercers are using to beat manashield!</p><p>I havent had any reliable tactic! Basically I have had about 5 pvp battles against wizards and warlocks within two levels and everything goes well until they pop manashield!</p><p>Any help at all would be appreciated!</p>

Beeing a Warlock myself the most common tactic i seen is a mezz/stifle till it run out... not doin anything to break it, just wait till MS is back down again.easy tactic for a coercer <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>Trick I always used was to save mez.  You see a warlock/wiz coming... quick stun... load reactives... Stifle... load the rest of the reactives... nuke, sonic boom, melee, nuke, nuke  (not Dots!!!)...  all your doing now is spaming your nukes that do not have dots and focusing on the mages buffs.  As soon as you see manashield.... Mez, sit and wait it out.  When mez is about to break, start your stifle, stun rotation.. cause they should be off immunity timers.  burn the mage down.</p><p>A smart mage will agro something to break your mez attempts.   Run and try and use line of sight issues to block their nukes till manashield is off.</p><p>enjoy</p>

<p>Thanks for that info!</p><p>At 28 I have been doing a lot of pvping to try and learn how to play my Coercer. I play solo and try to find solo battles because I have no chance it seems when two or more engage!</p><p>I will try your suggestions against mana shield!</p><p>Actually tried an even con Fury last night 3 times and just couldnt take him either, I guess I will try to level up some more and get some more weapons in my arsenal!</p><p>This is the only class I have played where I feel real satisfaction when I get a pvp kill! I have no expectations of winning so its all the sweeter when i DO!</p><p>LOL!</p>

Ive heard that you can actually damage through the mez while they're in manashield and it wont break it...Ive never tested it myself, but its worth trying with a friend?
