Quest: Favors - Forest Ruins in Qeynos

This quest is part of the quest-chain in the Forest ruins (after I have found the satchel). Quest-giver is Poko ZingIt requires me to gather 4 pieces of rubble (no problems there) and 4 different bark samples from trees. This is where I run into trouble. I can't find any trees that will give me an update - either inside or outside the ruins. I have tried abandoning the quest and taking it again - and logging out and back in. Nothing seems to help. Is there a trick to this quest (can't see any highlighted items I have to use near the gnome) - or am I bugged?

You're probably harvesting the wrong wood. The wood you want is not the harvestable stuff ((been so long sice T1 I can't remember what it is)). It will say something along the line of felled tree or some such and you will find it up the stairs after you enter the ruins............ prolly around that grassy area behind the big gargoyle guy. Thanks for the quick responses <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />It was indeed fallen branches I should harvest - not from the trees (as the quest-log said). I simply ignored then because I thought they were tier 1 nodes instead of my quest objectives.Onwards for Qeynos!
