Question on 42

<span class="postbody">Summoners are now granted an additional spell at level 2 so they can complete Arcane Storm properly.what does that mean? thats a herioc op i take it? so we need a new spell or something? any summoners from test who can shed some light on what this means?</span>

Arcane Storm is infact an HO, it's a Mage only one completed with a spell using the "Star" Icon. What this means is appearantly Summoners did not thier spell line with a star Icon for too long a period of time, you should have all your HO completion spells befor you get the HO starter at lvl 5. So basicly whatever spell gave summoners thier first star spell(likly a DoT) will get a new first spell in the line at lvl 2.

<p>I wasn't exactly a noob when I first ran into this, I had been playing another class at first, but my first 2 mage classes I found very annoying that I would get the HO for Arcane storm, and have to fight while the HO wheel is blinking until it times out to be able to start another HO and hope it wasn't another arcane storm.  Glad for the change, but don't know why they decided after all this time to fix it... oh well lol.</p>

When does this update come out?  I thought it was scheduled for the 29th.  It doesn't show when I click Update Notes from the launchpad.

<p>The problem was not that they could not complete it at level 2. The problem was that summoners before this fix could not complete it until level 9. Which is when they get their first AoE spell that triggers the star HO icon. After making a new necromancer after Neriak came out I found it VERY frustrating to have the HO come up and land on arcane storm and not be able to finish it. I applaud the devs and QA team for finally getting around to fixing this. Thank you!</p>

Seems like a lot of effort to add a level 2 HO to a class that can already participate quite well in HOs, compared to Rangers who can't really do anything with HOs.
