Is the Rever AA line still worth getting since they nerfed it? I solo exclusively and I can get the AA if it is worth it or would I be better putting it into reducing casting times of other spells.?

Thanks.

no matter what type of fight. be it pvp or pve, he who has the most HP at the end of fight wins. so yes i feel any healing makes reaver worth it.

agreedWhen I first saw it after the nerfage i didnt think I would include it in my aa specs. I have since picked it up (i mean with 70 per tree no reason not too hehe) and its still awesome. when solo with reaver on killing lvl 81+ mobs and such in skyfire and the like I dont ever drop below green health. without reaver they can put me yellow so it does its job. In groups I use it when we single healer the instances but if i have 2 healers i turn it off. So yeah its still worth it. I can remeber one instance that I loved that I had it hehe. we were killing the devourer named in maidens for the first time so were completely unprepared for the port thing and all but me and the bruiser died cause they fell in the pit. me and the bruiser duo'd the named form 50% to death and my health never drop to red cause i was spam spelling for reaver procs. matter of fact everyone in the group loved reaver that day hehe.

If you cast 15 spells or more in a fight, thats a 30% heal. Minus 1% every four seconds.

So say a fight lasts 30 seconds, and in that time you throw out 15 spells (not too hard to do), you've gained 23% of your health back via reaver in that fight.

The only time I don't have Reaver up is when I'm just running through aggro mobs I don't want to fight.

Even if you decide to not use reaver, the 20 point in increasing blessing, coil, tap veins are still worth it, and the endskill is just one single point more

First remember I dont play my SK much since ROK; I just dont feel they took SK playstyle into account when designed the expension. That being said..... In my oppinion you see less return on reaver the higher lvl ya get. Thru the 50s and 60s it was increbily useful. Closer I got to 70 less I noticed its benifit. Post 70 I barely even notice if its on our off. BUT you will see a big effect when fighting multiple mobs (hence why I think its not as noticable in ROK) and hit a AE.

You dont notice the effect as much at higher lvls because the efect becomes more subtle. You no longer see the big jumps in health but it keeps the health dribbling back in. Every lil bit helps Besides as my esteemed collegue pointed out your going to want all the stuff leading up to it (imo your foolish not to take them.)

From what I've been experiencing, I always have some sort of healing spell up and ready to use in fights. Usually, the blessing is up almost constantly (not the best way to get healed up but it still works surprisingly well). If the total reuse timer on Tap Veins was reduced by about 30 secs or more, I would definitely snatch that up... but 15 out of 2 mins doesn't seem worth it to me.What I have in reaving is 5 Unholy weapon, 5 in coil, 5 in HT, and 5 in Infernal blessing. Is there any benefit from dropping one of those and going to the Tap Veins AA instead?

However .. on the other hand i muss say that in T8 the recast on tap is maybe really worthless, while in T7 it was my bread and butter.

as far as tap veins goes. with the massive lack of aoe fights in t8 sure you could skimp on that one and put them elsewhere. I still use it on when im soloing though as more of a dmg spell than a tap cause i pull 2-3 solo mobs at a time when farming for trash exquisite chests in skyfire hehe. the 10% recast bump from str line does stack with is to mine comes up 21 seconds faster and occasionally when my troub friend wants to duo farm trash masters with jcap its pretty much always up. I actually dont know where I would put those points if i didnt have them in there. a couple in HT aa maybe but I dont use HT all that often and I definately cant see myself using it to try and heal up, most of the time when i use it is as a snap agro tool. personally i wish the rescue aa was range increase not threat position increase cause i would put them there if that was the case but, cant really think of another aa I woudl move those points into.
