I started up my EQ2 test connection to test the new broker search feature.Remember, there are not many items for sale on the test server, compared to the Mistmoore server.I searched for all Legendary items on the broker. The new broker search did not behave quite as I expected. On an item there are several types of attributes:(1) Those listed in red text, detrimental effects (-10 focus)(2) Those listed in green text, beneficial effects (+3 disruption)(3) Those listed in cyan text, without an effect below (+10 spell damage)(4) Those listed in cyan text, with an effect below (overflow)The new search only finds those attributes in set (4) above. I would have expected it to find those attributes in sets (4) and (3) at least. I would hope for it to work with all four of the above sets of attributes.  The choices in the drop down list with a similar function are limited.-Leucippus

It seems this feature is mentioned in the most recent Producer's Letter."3) Searching for items that you care about on the broker will become much easier, as we have implemented the ability to search for items by the effect name on the item."However, that statement is either a play-on-words (the phrase "effect name" above), or is false as of the last time I checked.  Friday's update did not change the search's behavior as far as I can tell.-Leucippus

i think its only going to search the type4 "effect names"what they can do (if any dev is reading this) is add all those "blue stats" to the other searchable dropdown, the one with the base stats like str

Just so long as somewhere, somehow I can search for any attribute that may be on an item. There are quite a few attributes missing from that other drop down list.Another possibility is merging the new search field with that drop down list, making one less field in the dialog.-Leucippus
