Getting right to the point I feel that writs from every city faction (ie-class and crafting) need an increased amount of faction rewarded. For the players that I know that would like to raise their faction with these groups they feel overwhelmed by the ridiculous grinding neccesary to reach "max ally" status. I'm not saying that +1000 per writ is needed, but just a little bump up in the amount would do nicely to make the grind to +50k more bearable.

And uh... yeah, I won't be responding unless a dev posts a reply so go to town with this one!

I see no reason to touch the amount of +faction earned per writ for Cities. A city should demand much from a stranger whom wishes to be considered an ally. The process of reaching that tier of faction should require commitment.Personally I have maxed 3 out of 4 Freeport factions + Neriak. Those achievements would suddenly feel undermined if the DEVs suddenly decided to increase the faction earned.

i know this is a little different from topic but i just tried to do some more writs for tunarian alliance in Eldar Grove and noone would give me any , my title "Naturalist" disappeared also but i was able to buy it back, i used to have little bit over 20k faction with them but i dont see that anymore in factions window.

The npc's just sending me to another npc than the final npc Preservationist Reynolds thanks me for all my efforts.... no more writs ?

Has this happened to anyone ? where do i get more tunarian alliance writs ?

Thank you for any info

Ok i was here at launch and i remember -faction Writs....but i dont think 335 writs is to much to ask. If you do each writ in each tier thats normally 4 per faction per 5 lvls starting at 10....hold on ill do the math......Thats 56 writs......so to max your faction you would need to do each writ at each tier 6 times and you would have done 1 extra writ.....I really dont think that is excecive at all. (there are allot more on some tiers and a few less on some if my memory is right, but an average of 4 sounds about right). The real problem you all are having (Im having the same problem TBH) is you waited till high lvls to start them and now we are looking at 335 writs killing the same mobs to be horrible..... We waited now we have to pay the piper.

For those of us who had hits to are faction back in the early years. Well if you really think its so bad there is another option. You can betray to the city were you can start from scratch. If thats not an option then we just need to suck it up and work it off.

You get xp, you get coin reward and you get faction... if you want more faction you'll have to give up some or all of the other two.Lots of people like to do writs to give themselves additional motivation or reward when simply grinding for XP. The coin reward helps offset the cost of the fuels required to make the items requested. They've done a good job of balancing the reward vs the time by looking at the hows and whys that everyone does them.Big picture time.

(BTW the coin mostly covers the fuel cost and some minor extra)

What I'm upset about is the fact that you can not do allied city writs in Kylong Plains. Before you start working on the writs on the Kunark mainland, a citizen of Gorowyn is able to do writs and get faction for both Freeport and Neriak. But when you get to lvl 67 and the KP writs are opened to you, suddenly each city writ-giver is hostile to all foreigners regardless of alignment or alliance.

I would be happy if they allowed you to redo lower level writs or something like that. When I started playing I didn't understand that when you got too high level you couldn't pick up the old writs. The worst part is, now that I'm 80 attempting to raise faction by doing the level 80ish writs, it would have been much more economical time wise if I had turned EXP off and hovered around level 10-15 and cranked out those writs for faction.
