Tainted Heals, or Lifeburn first? (Fast responce would be appreciated)

Ok i got LB first, but i am thinking about resetting and getting Tainted Heals because it sounds better,can anyone explain the good and bad of both and which spell if best to cast to trigger TH?Or go down the healing line and continue to out heal a defiler (i did it i was well chuffed)

hi,well I took LB first too then got tainted heals second.  Lifeburn is impressive (and upsets people running parsers in groups <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ) but TH has definately given me a great boost for soloing (which I do mostly)...just my own thoughts....

Do you solo or plan to raid mostly?  If solo go for tainted heals first then lifeburn.  If you raid often Lifeburn is a better choice.

<p>I solo mostly and love to take on tough named mobs and heroic ^^^ -- so my answer below reflects that. </p><p><b><u>Tainted Heals 108% (or maybe I should say 18% + 18% +18% +18% +18%+18%)</u></b></p><p>Tainted Heals is an AA that heals your pet for 18% of it's health everytime you cast certain spells.  Go into your Necro achievements and look at the spells that lead up to Tainted Heals, these are all of the ones that work.   Once you actually have TH mousing over the right spell icons will show you that it heals in green letters. </p><p> Get TH and then put all of these spells next to eachother on a hot bar, then you can keep your tank pet alive through some pretty amazing fights.  One of the spells (at work so don't have the name) you have to turn off when you cast it so be sure to get in the habit of casting and clicking it off right after.</p><p> Our regular pet heal is absolutely nothing in comparison to being able to heal our pets 18% at a time very quickly.  Personally I do not even have my pet heal on a hotbar.   For tough mobs, just sick your pet on the mob, load up every DOT & then heal your pet up -- repeating as necessary.</p><p> One side note, I found it best to go down the STA line next in the Summoner tree.  Look down that line and you will see with enough AA's you can have your pet taunt mobs off you with 100% success (though in reality for me it seems like 95% or the time).  After that put 5 points in the tank pet on the necro side to beef him up.</p><p> Just my 2c but for my solo style I can kill mobs that 90% of classes can't.</p><p> Good luck!</p>
