Proc on melee attack

<p>Why does it seem that most all of the decent damage procs only proc from a melee attack or a hostile spell?  Are Rangers not supposed to have gear that proc's damage?</p><p>While the itemization in RoK has improved greatly for rangers and we have seen items that will proc heals or stuns or slow on ranged attacks only, these items are truly only useful while we are soloing and basically get removed while in groups.  </p><p>Would it be too terribly difficult to include ranged and melee attacks in the proc description?  If the issue is the difference in proc rates between melee and ranged weapons just add a separate proc description and rate for ranged attacks and melee attacks. </p><p>edit - thought i was in the items and equipment forum - please delete thread, i will repost there</p>
