Is there any chance at all that an SOE dev would ever "donate" something to a guild run event on a server? (Not to beat a old horse but if someone can help a friend out by moving and entire guild from test to live this isnt a big deal) What I want is to run an event that would be like a scavenger hunt type thing, I wont bore everyone with the details but I have almost everything worked out, but would be open to everyone and want to be able to offer say a Master spell of the winners choice, or maybe an item or something. Has there ever been such a thing where a dev "helped" a guild sponsor an event? I am just looking for something to do that involves everyone in our little Oasis server!

i am really not sure about this but dont people get married and stuff on EQ2. so i think if you went about the same means you might get your wayyou might also have to grease the wheels of progress if you know what i mean. people wont program for free. So i would send a message to a dev.

Yea I wouldnt ever have any hoes of gettign them to actually code something for me. I would just want them to be able to drop a master chest in for the user with the Master Spell of their choice, thats functionality is already built into the game for the GM's. What team would I send that request off to? Would it be a dev thing or a GM thing or someone like in community relations?

Well I think the first and simplest point of contact would be the community representative, Gnorbin. Particularly since Gnorbin is looking for event holders. Gnorbin should be able to give you a rough heads up on if its at all possible. You can generally see Gnorbin posting alot in the community news board. so fire of a PM.
