Ok, ts writs are decent the way they are. I like 'em, and they keep my busy. But, they need an addition. An addition that would solve many, many problems.....the biggest being LFW.

Why can't players or guilds post their own writs and why can't crafters pull those writs and do them on a first come, first serve basis?

When a player posts a writ, they can either include materials or not, include the payoff for writ completion, and include a time for completion. Seriously, payoff for a writ could even include being paid in items instead of coin.

Just a thought. Feel free to expand upon it.

I'd aim away from actually calling it a writ or work order, as it'll confuse the easily confused etc.Seems to me what you're suggesting is sort of like setting up an Commission piece of work without actually meeting up with the other player. The Commission system (linky) seems to have most of what you are suggesting except for:1. The ability to raise the commission indirectly2. The non-monetary reward optionI'm not sure about the first come first served as that sounds like you can only craft the next order for your class, which might not be possible if you don't have the recipe. I can see that not having this would lead to cherry picking. Will probably end up a bit like the broker with people asking for imbued-rare-shiny-big-stick for 1p99g99s!I like the idea but doubt that it'll ever appear in-game. Still, there's nothing to stop some enterprising individual starting a global website where players can post requests and others can pick up the order (sort of like some guilds already use internally).
