I want to 2 box with my bruiser... I am really looking for a scout to box with... I dont really care for shamans or druids.. And I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight to what would be the best scout class to play with him and possibly reasons behind it. the other thing I wanted to know was with a type of scout class.. how effective would it be solo'ing any named mobs.. or would it pretty much be a death sentence to try? thanks for any advice

I've 2 boxed my bruiser with a SK, fury, troub, inquisitor, Necro, and templar, so i don't honestly have any input on a good scout class except for in the case of the troub, and honestly I'd say no go on the trouby(i just did it for the guild to have a backup troub if need be). If your open to suggestions I'd say just try the inquisitor up to about level 45. If your definately set on scouts though... I'd say either brig/swash or dirge as you dont have to give them quite as much attention.

i have heard alot of people talk about a bruiser/assassin combo?? I am not quite sure how that works out.. I have heard ranger as well... also do the dirges heals work well enough to keep the characters up?

*EDIT* sorry had one more question... why do swashies pair up well with so many classes

would anyone be able to add more insight... I am pretty confused about which would work best, and am at the crossroads of my levels where it is time to lvl one up with my bruiser mentoring..

I found dirges to be a nice duo with bruisers. They can really enhance what we do.

~Raithan

the dirge life transfer is nice, but its not something you can use every fight.Ranger + tank combo = bad. if your alone every time you get into battle you have to move them back out of range, so they can shoot, then when the battle is over put them back on auto follow.Assassin = bad because they require focus, and if you focus too hard then your tanking with you assassin, not with your bruiser.Swashies are good because they have good AoE damage(great for killing encouters) and they arent as labor intensive as either of the predators. They also have the hate transfer so you can hit higher DPS with them and not steal aggro.Brigs are also nice for they're debuffs and damage, but lack the hate transfer so if you open up early on them it takes a balancing act to keep the bruiser in control of the mob while the brig stabs away. The Dirge has awesome buffs that would all make your bruiser survive a lot longer, not to mention do more dps. The dirge however becomes somewhat of a hinderance though because they cant do that much damage. You would actually yield more dps just focusing on the bruiser and just setting the dirge to autoattack practically then trying to play them both to a potential.Thats the full line of every idea, choose as you please.

Depends how you are two boxing I guess.A druid or shammy is easier if you just want to survive long/hard fights, and are easier to box. Ports are awesome, and buffs are pretty good; I prefer a druid With your scout/bruiser combo, you'll have to be more active of course. A dirge is nice for buffs that will let you solo on a much higher DPS "tier" then the healer or rogues. Pretty much like it was stated, just go on autoattack, but I would set up the group debuffs and not just autoattack. This is the easiest way to go all together, since the dirge won't pulll aggro like a healer could. Rogue. They'll be the most work since you need to get position and use a lot of CA's. You should kill stuff pretty quick, nice to be able to steal money from backsstabs. I'd go with Swashy for AoE dps, and the brigs heals are still broke, so they can't be too reliable. The brigs do have siiiiic debuffs though. Predator, yeah 'd nix the ranger too, I mean ranagas are great DPS, but they wear dresses, cost a ton for arrows and poisons. The assassin will have the nice hate transfer as mentioned above, and can make you a fast solo, named ^^^ (T2-T7). Once you hit T8 though, you'll want some heals. So either spec gear to proc heals or (although AND can be better) carry some heal pots around. Power ones would be nice too.Kithians' pick of the day.DIRGEeasiest to box, great buffs, good debuffs, run speed.
