You should have posted this in the PvP discussion forum. I'm sure it'll get moved there anyway. 1. Nagafen has a massive population compared to Venekor. 2. Nagafen, because there's more people there overall. 3. I don't know, who cares about low levels, level up. Although the twink problem is bigger on Nagafen and questing can be a bit of a pain because of all the people, I'll say this - there's really no point to rolling on Vox or Venekor nowadays. Player Versus Player is really hard to do when there's barely any players around to versus.

i already have a high lvl char on a non-pvp server. do you think it's worth making a new char on negafen just for the pvp? i would char transfer, but you can't from pve to pvp servers

It's like Venekor only a few less people, but it aint bad. I generally hear that there are a lot of immature players on Naggy that grief a ton. On Vox and Venekor, I can say that it doesn't have (much.. there's always the few 9 yr olds that get their britches bigger when griefing lol)

Always up to the player, if you want High numbers of PVP with massive amounts of PVP, Naggy, (I see a problem with naggy in the future though with server lag and general server issues.)Vox, Venekor.. Get a more even balance of PVP vs. PVE, and Venekor is also host to more RP than Vox offers as it's a RP PVP server.

BE ADVISED:IF YOU ROLL A TOON ON VOX, IT'S GOING TO STAY ON VOX PER IT BEING A SONY EXCHANGE SERVER

And that's all I got to say about that =)

(( Nagafen is PVP Hardcore. (no room to breathe, pvp 24/7 whether you want it or not. Pvp and then more pvp Venekor is PVP Lite. (pvp can be found it you really want it, but you have lots of time and opportunity to explore the PvE content) Vox is PVP Lite Exchange version. Same as above except you can buy all your stuff with real-life cash.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in on this.im a new player to the entire game. I came from playing WoW for over 2 years, and i needed something diffrent to play so i chose EQ2. Now i made the mistake of not chosing a PvP server in WoW, so i chose one in EQ2. I choose Naggy, and i also chose the evil side since i was alliance in WoW.From my perspective being a new player to the game, and not knowing anyone on the server, i find that, yes, the ganking gets annoying, but i knew what i was getting into when i joined a PvP server, and i wanted to have sort of challenge with the game. I started 3 weeks ago and now currently a 30 berserker. I got to say im having a more enjoyable time than i was in WoW. Yeah the graphics arent all that hot but everything else about the game is more exciting than WoW. PvP, PvE, crafting, Leveling.... All more fun and exciting than then WoW's Grindfest. So my point of this little rant, is that yes Naggy is full of people ganking low levels, i find it fun and exciting, but also i have really now trouble leveling my toon when i want to.

rolling your first toon on a pvp server I would suggest venekor.. it is well balanced between pvp/pve and yuo will have a chance to complete the quest you need to get the equipment you will need for pvp as well as save up some plat. You can always move to naggy if you find you only wish to pvp at a later date.

as far as lower lvl toons. you may find groups in both with more pvp groups on naggy but I am just guessing.. I do not play the lower lvls unless it is to lvl past tham as fast as possible.

Sochi

If you want to PvP then Venekor is boring. There isn't enough PvP to be had. It's simple as that.

((OOC))

To my way of thinking, it's pretty clear-cut: Are you interested in roleplaying? If so, Venekor; if not, Nagafen.

I have been playing Everquest since the days of grey/red scaled graphics in the zones but never PVP. Some friends asked me to play with them on Venekor so I rolled an alt just before Christmas. I have reached 22 with slayer status, 24AA, and been able to get all of my spells to Adept III. It has been a blast! It has brought me a new awareness of exactly what spells, armor, resists, mitigation, etc.. actually do for or against you. And I now have a keen awareness of where the guards are (some of them don't assist...lol) and what areas of Antonica are more likely to be common killing grounds for the unsuspecting and unprepared harvester/quester.

The server population does not appear to be large but there are normally freeps around in antonica to keep you on your toes as you quest and harvest as a "Q". And running through Commonlands and Darklight wood in a small group and returning the pain is alot of fun. There is nothing like the rush you get when a freep or two appear out of nowhere; your heart starts pumping as you frantically cast spells and make the quick decision to fight or flee. That "rush" is something I haven't experienced in a long time on regular EQ2 servers.

I know nothing about the Naggy server but I am sure you would be welcome on Venekor. Which ever server you chose, be prepared to have a great time.

Which it has done quite efficiently.
