I tried to solo unrest the other day but couldn't get past the Bartender. Has anyone developed a strat for taking him down solo?
yep, u dont take him. no onw is supposed to be able to solo unrest. wich is why they still bite back at ya at lvl 80. the bartender like most of the nameds summon adds wich stifle so u might aswell give up and try another :/

Nej is kindof right, you _can't_ solo unrest, but not for that reason. The bartender is a tough fight, but you have to be on the ball 100%. Obv you have to be solo specced, but if you move around alot(the stun drinks he throws are killer), use your debuffs, and potions if you have em, he goes down pretty easy. For most of that zone you can charm a mob(never had it break there) to do sick dps, but on boss fights, kill your pet. Why? Because he will continue to do sick dps, the boss will kill it, then you get all that hate dumped on you... no chance for your tank to taunt it off, even with that mini rescue. The next boss is actually harder, the little gnome guy, but here are some hints.1) again no charmed pet.2) save shockwave for his adds(they _HURT_)3) remeber the bombs, you have very little time to destory them and they seem to come out about the same time as the adds, bomb first, then add.4) slow roll him on the dps no LB or tide or anything till the very end, then LB is still more likely to kill you.

5) bring repair kits!

6) lots of aas help tainted heals, wisdom line, sta line, some pacts

7) RoK stife/stun gear helps when they are not immune I use about 4pc, dps is good, but too much +BoE and crits/procs just get you killedAnyway hope that helps, cause after that you are stuck(need 2 people to do the levers at the same time unless they changed it)

edit:

Doing this if fun and pretty hard, bring repair kits!!!, I died 14 or so times trying to get the system down, and still die alot once or twice on the gnome, sometimes even on the bartender.

Oh SNAP! I broke the unwritten code. Remind me never to post positive information after seeing 42 Updates on nerfs for us, I mean hell, whats 43 updates of nerfs right? Am I right, huh?. Lets all get in bed with the rangers/ chanters/ bards/ brawlers and get some more nerfs like the sadists we really are. /bandwidth drain: humor devoid of comedy

I've soloed parts of unrest, and cleared a few zones when people I know didn't finish the zone completely... but it takes WAY to much time, energy, and pacience. I'd almost rather farm MM than try to solo Unrest for 6 hours.

I'd gain like 2 levels a night, while I slept if I could find someone willing to pull for me

Is it possible to get to the 2nd floor solo? I've got a L65 quest, Knights of Round. I've got 49 of the 50 stinking statues but the last one is in there. I managed to play around the outside perimeter fairly well (75 necro with 120AAs). But it was getting late and I didn't try to get inside.
