Hi allHow do you manage to keep track of all buffs when you are in a group with 4-5 others? The amount of buffs is ridiculous. What troubles me the most is when your group triggers some nifty heroic opportunity buff you want to check out what it does (by reading the buff description), but then you have to browse through ~30 icons worth of buffs to find it! One solution would be to learn all HO buffs by name and look in the combat log, but I left school several years ago.Anyone care to give me another approach? Some addon that shows buff names without hovering might do the trick.

Theres no add-on as far as I know that offers this feature. For figuring out what heroic opportunity does, try looking through this:http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Heroic_Op...pportunity_ListAs for the amount of buffs you have, what seems stupid to me is that SOE's design does *not* allow more than 30 buffs to show on any one character. No mods/customization can change this, and even though you will recieve the effects of the buffs, you won't be able to see which buffs they are.

Thanks for the list.So I guess the only real option is to make sure you are having your own buffs up and trust that everyone else in your group does the same. And regarding HOs you just have to learn them.I just checked, with my warden not grouped I have 13 icons in my spell effect window self buffed. That 30 limit you are talking about seems very strange, I'm almost halfway there solo.

Druids and bards have a large number of buffs.Sometimes you have to pick and choose what you put up. In a raid, my fury may sacrifice a group buff to allow having an INT buff on one more caster. In a group, as a tank I may want the dirge to provide more power, or more DPS, and I'll say what I want and trust them to apply the buffs their experience says are best for that.

Whether you're maxing out the amount of visible buffs depends a lot on your classyour warden may have 13 buffs, but my assassin only has 5And yes, Bards and Druids have a *lot* of buffs to put up.
