I made my first imbued indium pike tonight. The vendor offered 9g 21s 60cThe cheapest on the broker was about 6g 58s 80cI bought it and went to sell both to the vendorThe vendor only offered me 5g 52s 96c for the one I had boughtWhat could have caused the difference?Of course, they seem to have no possible use.Why would a warrior want a weapon with STR and INT?

Are you sure the one you bought was imbued? The NPC should be offering you the cost of the fuel used in creation; imbued stuff costs more to create.Oh! Perhaps the one you bought pre-dated the recipe revamp... didn't imbuing take only one fuel in the olde days?

T7 never did have the recipe revamp since its recipes were in the LU#24 method from the beginning. I have so lost track of what hard metal is for which tier, though *laugh*.

Initial thoughts was that the imbued pike was a pre-24 item... but wasn't certain. Would explain it all. Been soooo long~Blasted legacy items... confusing and clogging the system from now till the end of time.

It could be pre-LU24 I suppose. How could I tell? The names of the items are identical. It wouldn't be that surprising that it had sat on the broker since then, since I can't see any reason why someone would buy one.

>>Of course, they seem to have no possible use.Why would a warrior want a weapon with STR and INT?<<<I have found that regular (handcrafted) weapons aren't really particularly useful unless your previous tier ones really sucked and you need something to tide you over for two levels until you can use mastercrafted ones.On the issue of who would use one -- both my Paladin and Mystic would have been interested, but couldn't use them. T7 pikes can be used by Paladins and T8 ones by Mystics as well, but I noticed this morning that the T8 ones have STR and AGI, not INT.

My point was that regardless of the quality the only classes allowed to use them would not want that combination of stats.Certainly it would make more sense if crusaders were allowed to use them or if they gave STR, AGI.But they really ought to be the same across the tiers.
