Primary weapon question

I am hearing so many different things i am getting all confused.Which is better, Staff of the impaler, Crystallized plasma wand or soulfire (fabled)I am trying to get the praetors guard and necro orb still.I currently for my secondary have the blood of the broodwatcher, and fritzz claymore item.The question is, with my current secondary items which primary is the best.  And if i managed to finally get the praetors guard and necro orb which primary will be the best then???

plasma wand has always been better than soulfire, unless you have Dark orb of the Mind.   So i would use plasma and your 2 proc items.  And the staff of the impaler is nice for a 2h, but all 2h weapons limit any options you have to gear in fights.

This question is a popular one all of a sudden. The Impaler staff is cool and all.  It's proc is fat and the +4 crit is niceanother one people have been asking about lately is the Perpetuality Baton since more and more guilds are clearing PR now.   It's allright if you have TC cuz then its reuse speed factors in alot more.But as always...nothing beats the boosted spells from the wand of cystallized plasma.

<p>Just remember you need at least 1 persona level 77 for the Orb to mentor down to so the mob isnt greyed out.</p>

Crystallized plasma wand drops in Unrest off of Hemogoblin.  Soulfire is an epic quest reward after doing a ton of running around AND then killing Mayong.
