So I figured I would make some macros to make my life easier. For example I would have one called "Tank Def"..I set the macro to cast the followingSummon petStanceSymbolrending fury.Problem is when I click this macro is summons, skips step 2&3 and goes right to 4.. Is there some kind of pause I need to do?

Yeah I've found out that you can only have 2 abilities on a macro, because it queues (sp?) one.

<p>Hello there,</p><p>I thought about some useful macros for us (necromancer) for solo-play and i want to tell u about, what i think is good to combine effects and spells:</p><p>First i'll show u my <b>''send my pet into battle-macro''</b> :</p><p>First macroline: <b>/petattack</b>      // u all know about that</p><p>Second macroline: <b>/useability Mortality Mark    //</b> debuffs mob & summons 1 ''Essence of Anguish''</p><p>Third macroline: <b>/useability Siphoning of Souls</b>    // debuffs mob & 1 ''Essence of Anguish'' is used.</p><p>One good thing about this macro is that the amount of ''Essence of Anguish'' stays equal. So u don't need to worry anymore.</p><p>This macro allows u to let your pet gain aggro and the mob is allready debuffed before u cast your first spell .</p><p>For me this worked fine especially for single encounters.</p><p>But what about a groupencounter?</p><p>As u know the duration of <b>Mortality Mark</b> is 72 sec. and the duration of <b>Siphoning of Souls</b> ends with the dead of the mob.</p><p>Using the macro on the first opponent in a groupencounter is normal, like a single encounter.</p><p>But if u use the macro on the following opponent there's a problem.</p><p>If u hit the macro your pet attacks, <b>Mortality Mark</b> breaks off and <b>Siphoning of Souls</b> will be casted.</p><p>Now <b>Mortality Mark</b> is missing to debuff the new opponent.</p><p>The clue to this problem is :</p><p>Target next opponent, hit the macro.</p><p>!! And <u>while the spell-casting-bar</u> for <b>Siphoning of Souls</b> is shown, hit the macro twice. !! </p><p>This will queue <b>Mortality Mark</b> and u're fine again.</p><p> Continue doing so for the opponents to come in the groupencounter.</p><p>                                 Hope u enjoy it like i did and still do.</p><p>Edit: Sorry, i'm not used to explain such things in english. <p>Hi,</p><p>since i had enough achievementpoints to use <b>''Tainted Heals''</b> of the necromancer achievementtree i thought of combining manipulating spells and damagespells in macros to keep the amount of quickkeys down.</p><p> I came across some couples that fit well for me.</p><p>I combined <span style="color: #3366ff;"><i><b>( 1.)</b></i> </span><b>Grave Disturbance</b> and <b>Plot</b> , <span style="color: #3366ff;"><b>( 2.)</b> </span><b>Pack of Imps</b> and <b>Dispel Magic</b> , <span style="color: #3366ff;"><b>( 3.)</b> </span><b>Pandemic</b> and <b>Chains of Eternity</b> .</p><p><span style="color: #cc0000;">( HINT: You got to check out using this considering the <b>recovery</b> of spells. It takes a bit of practice to find the right timing !! )</span></p><p>As u can see damage spells are always in the first position. </p><p>This allows me to use my damagespell-array as usual by pressing the macrobutton one after another.</p><p>If my pet is in need of healing i only stop the array for a moment so that the manipulating spell gets time to be casted.</p><p>If my pet is in need of big healing  i simply press the macrobutton as usual ( for example <i><b><span style="color: #3366ff;">( 1.)</span></b></i>&nbsp<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> , but i abort the casting of the damagespell <b>Grave Disturbance</b> by pressing the <b>Esc</b>-button.</p><p>The manipulating spell <b>Plot</b> , which is queued, will be casted. While the manip.-spellbar is shown/running i press the next macrobutton ( for example <i><b><span style="color: #3366ff;">( 2.)</span></b></i> ).</p><p>Because the damagespell <b>Pack of Imps</b> can not  be casted immediately ( because ( <b>Plot</b> ) is still in progress) <b>Dispel Magic</b> will be queued.</p><p>This gives me the possibility to heal my pet for 6 to 8k ( with crit.) which is nearly half  up to three-fourths of max.-hp </p><p>(currently my tankpet has got 11.5K hp)</p><p>If anyone's got probs with these methods, just ask. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" /></p><p>EDIT: mistakes, mistakes, mistakes</p>
