Three quick questions about warriors and equipment:1. Does intelligence increase the damage of Berserker and Guardian combat arts, or is that totally Strength? I know Int increases spell damage, didn't know if combat arts counted as spells.2. I hear that bucklers increase your chance to outright avoid an attack. Is this true, and if so, is there a way to view the stat on a shield? Is it a flat rate for each shield type, or can it vary from buckler to buckler?3. Which stat determines how much power a Berserker/Guardian has. Is it all strength?Thank you

1.) Nothing does. They do a set damage, period.2.) I do not believe this is true. If by avoid you mean Block/Riposte and avoid all damage in that way, then yes. You can view your block percentile in your persona tab, just check it with different shields, but unless there is a mod it should always pretty much be the same.3.) STR

STR
1 out of 3 correct isn't bad I suppose?Strength DOES increase combat art damage. take off an item w/ just str and look at the CA value before and after, and there is an improvement with the item on.Shield block rate, before any extra modifiers, is dependent on the protection value of the shield. Generally shields of the same classification (Buckler, Round, Kite, Tower) tend to stay within a certain range of protection, but there are of course ones that are vastly superior. Going from say a 1000 protection shield to a 1300 protection shield without any extra mods on it, was around 6.5-7% more blockrate, both Tower Shields, and same level item. (70 item on 73 char)

The Shield one, you are correct, he wasnt asking on protection ratings and those are readily seeable, so I didnt think he was asking on that.I will have to test on the CAs though, I honestly do not believe that STR affects CAs at all. If it does... well I not only retract my false statement, but thank you for teaching me something.

"or can it vary from buckler to buckler?"Myself I took that to refer to protection values *shrug*

Strength does increase fighter combat art damage. I've been playing fighters long enough now.

Bucklers can increase your ability to avoid hits IF you take the buckler line in your warrior AA tree. That line also increases your DPS if properly utilized with the other lines.

Strength also determines max power on Guardians and Berserkers.

If you mouse-over each of your stats in the persona window, it will say exactly what they do.
