Question About the Breathing Pools

I have been fascinated by the Lore in Gorowynd and the surround Timorous Deep-y area, but there is one thing I can't seem to find anywhere.Does anyone know any information on the Breathing pools?  Like what formed them, what exactly they are spewing out, etc.  I'm baffled o.O

<p>Wait, there's actually some associated lore with Gorowyn? They actually fleshed it out?</p><p>Anyways, Since they built the city inside a volcano, I would guess it's just a sulferous water for clearing out the sinuses.</p>

<p>/agree </p><p>That or medicinal hot springs.</p><p>Or perhaps named so because they emit gas, and it's like the volcano exhaling.</p><p>I have no evil toons, so I'm not sure of the lore.</p>
