Can anyone solo Blue ^^^ in RoK?

I am at 74 right now, fully MC stuff from head to toe with the Jewlrey too....WIS/INT/AGI and I could not get this [<span style="color: #cc0000;">I can't control myself in public</span>] down to more than 50% before me taking a dirt nap. Had all my buffs up and KO Line act... So just wondering how you all are doing in RoK with this type of mob?

<p>Yes - which is why I have a hard time moving away from the STR line. CHI + KO then when mob hits 25ish DF. Of course all CA's including Ignore Agony must be up. I also have that Unglued Alchemist Neck piece which does a 3k heal. I am sure if specced down STR and WIS for last abilities will make soling heroics easier. But ya thats a 1 heroic mob kill per 10 minutes.</p><p>In addition using CHI to port home reduces Call of the Overlord to about a recast of 37 minutes and casting of 15 seconds</p><p>Rapax - 80 Bruiser</p><p>Butcherblock</p>

Get yourself some legendary or fabled gear, you're wearing MC. Pretty much tells me right there.

<p>You mastercrafted = garbage.</p><p>The mention of legendary was for t8 legendary which you are still too low level to even use at lvl 74.  Once you start getting some of the legendary gear from the RoK instances come back here and tell us its subpar to your mastercrafted.  The fabled mention coulda been either EoF fabled or RoK fabled, both of which is equivalent or better then even high t8 legendary statwise (not so much on the effects).</p><p>Back to your question, yeah I can kill SOME blue ^^^'s. No I dont have Chi, I am agi/wis/int (altruism helps on the raid scene with the dbl attacks imo).  I currently use t8 legendary and a couple pieces of EoF fabled (rok hasnt been kind to me yet for my t8 fabled).  If the heroic is a caster mob then I can kill it with KO and Craneflock up w/o dev fist, though it does help.  I'm not sure if totally t8 fabled brawlers can chain blue ^^^'s like we could in EoF or KoS, but if I can perform like I am at the beginning of my gearing at lvl 80, then I'm sure I'll be able to at LEAST take low con blue's that arent necessarily caster mobs.  Wait till you are lvl 80 and aquire some items, and get rid of the mastercrafted...OMFGWTFBBQ 1 or 2 attack speed!!! That item is UBER! Lol, yeah...its really not.</p>

Like you said, I would have to be Fabled in t-7 stuff to beat it. For the money, its a graet deal. Hidebound petlts sell for 1 plat. So, for apretty low cost, one can suit up with alot more power from what they had form t-7, unless they were uber geared. But yea, I look forward to getting better stuff as time goes on. Like I said, on the Broker, other than the MC, there is nothing that comes even close for the plat. There isn't even much Fabled stuff for sale from T7...and whats there is way too much for the stats it gives.</p><p>So, I guess im gimped til I get to higher levels and upgrade.</p><p>I remember the moment we as Bruisers got gimped. It was right before I had to quit the game for a bit and after the update, mobs I was killing were now killing me. It was awful. I could easy take on Blue^^^ then. The rational was that, they wqere gimping us because the AA line was coming out and we would be too strong if added AA's to our existing uberness.</p><p>Well, here I am with 79AA's, in very decent gear...meaning I have always been in MC stuff when I was killing blue^^^, but still can't. So, there was a wholessale change back then that gimped us for good. But, in all honesty, this is probably the way to should have been from the gitgo. Blue^^^ should be the exception and not the rule unless you are unber geared. I am cool with that.</p>

Just to put this into perspective, my berserker is 80 and in all t8 legendary+ gear with ad3+ and he'd never ever dream of taking an rok blue ^^^.  My bruiser is only 64 still (working on him now) but seriously, try to keep in mind that most classes can not straight up melee a rok blue heroic.  Obviously a well-geared monk/bruiser can, my brigand probably could once i get her to 80 because she can keep a mob turned/stunned for ages and has amazing burst dps.  My 71 SK can't now but that might be due to lack of gear.  Any other class and you're talking mandatory kiting with root/snare.The t8 mastercrafted stuff IS heads and tails better than any other MC I've seen so far.  The t8 legendary stuff is obviously usually better but it's not the gap you had say, between xegonite and t7 legendary.

Are you guys talking about Heroic solo pull mobs? If so the only ones I have been able to take on my Monk were green ones and even then I had to use every trick I had to do it. The difference in that one level from blue to green seems to make a world of difference.Bruisers tend to do better against harder mobs anyways because of your burst DPS.One trick I use but it's a Monk skill, is wait till below 30% with Eagle Shriek and then hit Tsunami and Crane Flock. I can take most names from 75% to 25% before Tsunami wears off (12 seconds). Then I'll hit my mit buff and when I need I'll heal myself. If I'm in good shape I'll try a DF if not I'll just burn until I either FD or it's dead. Most greens give me too much trouble so I doubt I could take a blue just yet. My guild has just moved to T2 RoK raids so hopefully I'll get better gear and will be able to do it.You might want to try a miracle if the named is that important.

1. CURSE YOU MONKS!!!!!2. With RoK, ^^^'s are no longer your grandpappy's ^^^ from days of yore.  They are tougher and meaner, and rightly so. Heroics should NOT be soloable (yes yes even by decently equipped players). They do need at LEAST a trio of treasured-MC'd geared players of the new trinity (tank/healer/DPS) or a duo of legendary, maybe a solo fabled/avatar fabled player.  I could see a legendary equipped player getting away with it if they know what the heck they are doing.    Some of the old timers in here that where taking down named ^^^ in PoF and KoS I'd say could do it.Myself, I'm in partial T8 MCd gear some quarlsome gear, and some T7 Fabled still.  I can get a non named ^^^ down depending on his level, green of course a lot easier then then blues, and then depending on the mob at that, but most of the time I just flop cause my butt is being fryed.GL with em though, and find a decent guild that will let you slip in some raids with them or some Vaults runs, you can get some good gear in there.  If you are just soloing through RoK, expect to not get any good gear, besides a lucky find on the broker, the legendary quest rewards, or the purchasable faction gear on the faction merchants.
