Court of the Coin: Running the Business bugged?

I was working on MajDul quests at lvl 80 and got to Court of the Coin: Running the Business which seems to be bugged. I can't get the <span class="wikiwyg_section"><a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Preceptor_Kamal" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Preceptor Kamal</a> kill to update. I've killed his add first then him, I killed him first, I killed both while mentored down, I deleted the quest and did it over again. It still doesn't update. Bugged for me and my gf too. We're both 80.Any thoughts?</span>

I am having the same problem; the GM told me that I wouldn't get quest credit without mentoring, but that doesn't seem to help either.(BTW: Are there ANY quests you can't get credit for, solo, unmentored? I'm playing the game after being gone for awhile, so I could be missing something.)There's a thread somewhere here saying that they know about the problem, and I have not tested the kill after the downtime which just ended. Maybe he's fixed? I will post the results of my test once he spawns.EDIT: Not fixed. As of 10:44am EST on 1/8/08, he is still vanishing on death and not giving quest credit. And the GMs still say we need to mentor, when mentoring is not a solution. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

When I killed Preceptor Kamal today he didn't update my quest log for Court of Coin: Running the business quest either. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/c30b4198e0907b23b8246bdd52aa1c3c.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />
