Anybody using Baton Flurry and the following aa, Ambidexterity? Accumulatively, you'd basically have a 27% reduced recast timer and 12% reduced reuse timer. Not sure if that really adds up to much dps or not. So any brawlers out there have any parses of this stuff?
I've re-specced a few times this last week and a maxed AGI line was my penultimate set-up. I didn't parse in anything approaching a scientific way but the little I did do [soloing as weaponless 73-74 Bruiser with T7 fabled and mainly app2 spells] was not enough to stop me from almost immediately swapping the whole line out again with the feeling that it was kind of '[Removed for Content]'.The speeded-up re-use timers sound good in theory, but in practice I didn't notice any benefit whatsoever and, perhaps more importantly, it didn't even feel like it was faster.

The reuse timer bonus is nice for utility/tanking abilities being available more often. As a monk, I have a bulit-in cast timer bonus, so the baton flurry recovery bonus stacked on top of that means the 'dead time' around my CA's is significantly reduced, making it much easier to squeeze auto attacks in between CAs. I found that going 488 agi with my 20 extra KoS points from RoK ended up greatly increasing my auto attack dps due to the issues caused by my native high haste (in offensive mode my haste is between 180 and the hard cap). As a bruiser, you might not have such a high native haste, so the benefits may not be as great for you. It also depends on the effective delay of your weapons. The faster your weapons, the more of a benefit you will get out of baton flurry. I would think the reuse bonus would be a better benefit for you guys since your offensive arts all have about bouble the reuse timer when compared to a monk's lower damage, fast reuse arts. But, I still think baton flurry is more of a dps increaser and ambidexterity is more useful for being able to use utility/defensive arts more frequently.

The best uses of the AGI line is to match it to your weapons + Haste. Having weapons with 2.5s delay makes it a little harder to figure out the best way so I'll give examples from before DW was changed since it's what I 1st build on.At the time I have both TC's at 1.6s delay. Self hasted they were 0.8s Mean at my current cast time (0.5+0.5=1.0s) I would miss 0.2s worth of haste making it worthless. With AGI line I was able to get my cast+recover down to 0.8s which matched up prefect. I was able to spam CA's and never miss and autoattack. Now with my current haste level and my 2.5s weapons I believe my weapon delay is 1.6s (don't quote me). Mean in order to spam CA's without losing any autoattacks I need to get my cast+recover times down 0.2s in order to get 2 CA between each autoattack [2.0s - (0.3*2)]. Granted this changes in raids depending on buffs but you good Brawler can be flexible enough to deal with it. I haven't respected since I picked up two 2.5s weapons. More then likely I will tonight. So I don't even know if you can get your total cast+recovery timers down to a total of 0.3s to make it worth it. For Bruisers this would be a little easier since you don't haste yourselves as high as Monks. The best way to find this out (hate math) is what you respec go find a low level mob (L1 will work) and hit it with Baton Flurry then inspect a CA and add up the cast and recovery until you get the times you want/need.

Just an update. Self hasted my Monk has a weapon delay of 1.6s (confirmed) and getting AGI(2) to 6 points combined with my spell haste my timers are 0.44s cast + 0.36 recovery = 0.8s per CA. Meaning I can spam 2 CA's between each auto attack and not miss a swing. Now last night I was grouped with a dirge and my weapon delay dropped to 1.5s meaning if I wanted to spam CA's I would miss out on the haste from the Dirge while spamming. What I noticed is it is always better to be just above the weapon delay with your CA's. What I mean is it's better to have a 1.5s delay and a 1.6s total cast time then having a 1.7s delay and a 1.6s cast time.
