Masters Super RARE! Dictate adept 3 or Domination M1?

On my server, the Kunark expansion Masters spells are super rare.  Should I stick with Domination M1, or go with Dictate adept 3?Please help!

Some have used Coerce or Beguile M1 until T7 if they couldn't find the next tier master. Master quality spells makes your pet cast all abilities at master level. Adept3 gets you Adept3 abilities. So assume a 15%ish increase in your pet with the master over Ad3.

When questioning about master spells for a Coercer the most important to have at master lvl is your charm spell even if it is one tier below your current level. The damage output difference in adept 3 and master charm is very sigificant.

I think the question is more about not one tier below, but two. I can't find domination master 1 for the life of me, and dominate being really overpriced, I'm still using beguile master 1 at level 72... Not that I would find the adept 3 versions of the other ones either anyway, but it makes me wonder.

That, and the out of combat pet regen also, I guess. Resists also maybe?It's pretty odd, but at least I didn't pay anything for that master 1 - hopefully I can put my hand on an upgrade eventually!

I managed to pick up Domination M1 today for 11plat on broker.( Think i got a bargain there ).Its going to sit in my bag for the next 10 levels though as I'm only lev 51 atm, but since its thefirst master book of ANY charm spell I have seen on my server, I couldn't let it slip past me.Can't wait to get my first taste of M1 powered pets.>8=)

Resists also maybe?It's pretty odd, but at least I didn't pay anything for that master 1 - hopefully I can put my hand on an upgrade eventually!</blockquote><p>Honestly, unless you're using Master Beguile at 70, I don't see much help in the extra regen, or resists.</p><p>That is mainly because I look on my pet as a slave, not a friend.  While I may want to keep a good caster pet around for a while, I'm not so concerned about it as to care about his welfare.  If he gets really close to death, stun/mez your target mob, case your PBAoE nuke/stun, and release your pet just before it casts.  Boom, you get exp from the former pet, and roust up another victi......pet.</p><p>If you are unable to get a master for your charm, definitely get Ad3.  Ad3 will allow charm to be functional, but not excessively good.  Use up to date Ad3's, but if you do get a master of any tier, try it out, and see what the differences are.</p><p>I look forward to your future comments on the quality differences.</p>

I play the same way mostly. And not having much trouble with beguile master 1 at 75, so not really going to get broke getting an upgrade unless I find a good deal I guess.

<p>Picked up Dominate M1 for 4pp. Good to know I will still be able to use it next tier if I can't find a reasonably priced upgrade master.</p>

I used beguile master 1 up to 80 and never really got any issue honestly (still use it). I wish the out of combat regen had been better, but I didn't have that many breaks/resists at all.
