Question on claymore update?

<p>Ok so i am smacking mobs trying to get a wooden chest drop with an ornate slashing eye in it for the Claymore update (Ascent of the Awakened step) when it occurs to me ... I'm level 80 now and the MoBs in there are 65^^^ Epic X2's ... ie Gray ... Will they even drop a chest for me? </p><p> I've done some quests where chest drops for quest items still occured even when the mobs were gray .. just wondering has anyone been into the Ascent when the MoBs are gray and gotten a chest with the eye for Claymore line? Or do I need to mentor down for my update?</p><p>Anyhow i'll try again later this week and see if i can get an update .. anyone with info that can post .. would appreciate it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>0</p>

i too would like to know. at 79 i dont want to waste my time killing grays if there is no chance of them dropping the quest items. anyone tried this?

I haven't got to that part yet, due to losing what I guess is a coin needed for the Coin Operation quest (any ideas how to get it back?), but just wanted to say that I've done a lot of quests that were greyed out, and cannot recall not receiving what I needed from the mobs, so long as I was on the quest.
