I have a barbarian SK now. I want to create a new SK and make him an alchemist, I just don't know what race gives the best attributes to a SK. Im Evil nagafen by the way.

dont think it makes a huge difference in end-game, im diggin my barb just cause he looks tuff, plus they get  +chemistry racial trait for your alchemy.

I picked troll because.. uhh, I wanted an evil race and they look pretty badass in the gear, especially the helmets.

I picked Dark Elf. Littttttle extra int, and the racials are nice. Hover and 15% invis speed (chameleon totems ftw). Power regen, fury, 3%extra mana, a deaggro spell (useful if you DM and get more aggro than you bargained for)2.0% extra double swing chance. And sexiness.

I made my sk an iksar because that's what I had in eq1.But I've found that the stealth spell that they get can be useful at times, as well there is a racial for a bonus to chemistry.  The poison attack you can get is nice for pulling since it has a 50 yard range.Honestly, not sure if there is a 'bad' race for sk, let alone most classes.

Dark elf hands down. Fury of innoruuk alone is worth it. Death March + Fury of Innoruuk with swiftaxe AA and a mastercrafted str dps ring all going at once = INSANE

<p>I would say high elf or erudite.</p><p>Erudites get a 5% permanent casting speed bonus, +2% to spell crit, +5 disruption.</p><p>High elfs get 2% to spell crit, +5 disruption, +5 defense +5 parry</p><p>These two races are the only ones that can play a 'melee class' and give them caster racials.</p>

I picked Erudite before the new racials went in, but I'm not sorry.  An extra couple points in stats doesn't really make a huge change in the end game.  Their encounter based ae is pretty nice, I can crit for over 1,000 per mob right now on it at level 54.

I chose Human for my SK after trying a Barb and an Arasai. Human has worked the best for me hands down. I think because you start off even on everything it just makes it easier to keep your stats leveled especially Str and Int.

I went with Ogre cause they're big, and in EQ1 Ogre SKs were the best combo (immune to frontal stuns + extra stamina for the win!)
