Hey guys, I've been playing this game since day 1.Some of you may know me, I was a senior on the Najena Server.Originally Burningpeace , a fury of Najena. Then Tevan , a Warden of Najena. And of course, my first toon, Silencerr a Paladin/Shadowknight also on Najena.I used to know all about leveling up, From Grinding on heroic scarecrows (they're all normal cons now )I mean I could write a book on this.Ant Crows --> BB Spiders---> TS Giants-->ROV-->RE--->RV Rats/Crows--->CT = lvl 50I mean, all of the old school people will remember that.I decided to get a new account , I want to play again. I love this game. It was my first MMO, and it's one of the best. I spent some time on the Bazaar server, but it's not populated enough for me.With the way the game has changed, I don't exactly know what to do anymore. I never used to bother with the quests in this game, where to start??the only thing I know is that I want to be a wiz.Any help would be appreciated

Also been playing since day 1 and no offense but everyone wont know who everyone else is.. there are just too many people in the game. (and I dont recall who you are lol)As far as lvling goes, I tend to work on quests. I pick a zone for the lvl I am working on and then quest in that area til they are about done or til I out lvl the area and move on to the next.Newbie Zone of your choice - > Nek/ButcherBlock/TS - > EL/Feerott/LS/SF - > SS/LF/TT(some sky stuff) -> LP/More of SKy/More LF -> RoK There are many options each lvl tier.. its just a matter of choice where you wish to go Quests are a huge helper in order to lvl and I would highly suggest you do them.. as not only do you gain exp but you gain achievement exp and these are important for your class advancement.

Definately do the quests. It is a very effecient way to level and pays off with AA experience too. The only time I just farm NPC outside of a quest is if I am trying to top off a level.

I've leveled my wizard through casual solo play to 42 so far with 37 AAs starting in mid November. I've played EQ1, DAOC for many years, Vangaurd and EQ2 at release. Leveling in EQ2 now is much quicker and much less frustrating or mind-numbing through the quest system than any I have expereince before.
