Many of the higher speed/prettier model mounts are only availabl eif you have achieved a certain guild level. They are the rewards for putting so much effort into leveling the guild.

In your case, it's the equivalent of a lvl 37 guard REALLY liking the lvl 70 Guard set BP. Yes, it is nice, but you'll have to reach 70 before you can put it on.

Aye, my guild is 62.5 and we still feel it's a long way till 70 also

The only options I know of for you is the carpet quest in Sinking Sands, or the Warg quest in Loping Plains. Assuming you have the adventure levels to be able to get those. they're not as nice as the status mounts, but they do have decent speed, and graphics.

This is a sore spot for me. Guild level for the gameplay affecting mounts is ludicrous. Want a mount only a single person can ride the purchase should be based on the achievements of one person. The "workaround" for this is to find a high level guild that will let you join long enough to purchase the item, then go back to your guild with the high level item. Many high level guilds will let you do this for a "fee". Its a matter of asking around. As putting in time to achieve is a cop out. Smaller guilds by the nature of guild leveling are forced to put in significantly more effort to achieve levels because there arent dozens to hundreds and in some cases 1000+ people to share in the heavy lifting. Saying that everyone in a higher level guild deserves more is simply wrong.I am all for guild rewards but only things of status (rare breeds etc) - not mounts with faster runspeeds or stats that affect gameplay when players of significantly higher personal achievements and status could and should have those mounts long before 95% of the populace in some of the "higher" level guilds where members with less than 10k in GSP are touting how leet they are when smaller guilds have players with over 1m in GSP. Personal opinion but I maintain its just wrong. Anywho...

Do you honestly expect anyone to work at leveling their guild for a horse that's blue instead of grey? there has to be some meaningful reward, or it won't get done. In-game example: Remember when each newbie district had it's own tradeskill society, and doing writs for that society would level it, and allow more items to be purchased from the vendor? How many actually took Coalition of Tradesfolke or Ironforge to max after they eliminated that idea? Very few. No reason to do all that work, other than bragging rights.

I have no problem with guild level being a determining factor for the largest houses, the best mounts, etc.I wonder how many people do 2-3 city tasks (writs) or more a night. I do.
