Bruiser or Monk

<p>I am starting a brawler to solo with. I am returning to the game. I played at release. I had to quit because i did not have time to group. I have decided to come back . Would you suggest a bruiser or a monk to solo with?  </p><p>I am cross posting this in the monk forum.</p><p>Thanks for the help.</p>

<p>If you are truely going solo I would pick a bruiser for the faster self heal. I am not saying that a monk isn't a great soloer because they are! A monk will possibly be looked after more for grouping since they can heal others and later you will get group feign death that is very handy at like lvl 55 I think. Monks also have great auto attack and are possibly better consistant damage than a brusier. On the other hand a bruiser will benefit greatly from a proper group setting where haste/dps mods, bonus to crits come into play.</p><p>Once a bruiser gets all combat arts either mastered or adept III's they can be very impressive. At 65 get knockout combo and can almost chain stun a mob to death as long as it is within reason for 20 secs. Bruisers offensive stance has a chance to proc damage as well as our rumble line that has a chance to proc a taunt with a proc damage. A monk gets better self haste which makes their auto attack much better than ours because we get no self haste.</p><p>Roll one of both and compair them as you lvl. It would just be fun.</p>
