I essentailly completed this quest, but accidentally deleted one of the keys to open the lockboxes at the end of the quest. It will not allow me to open the box. I have returned to the various expedition leaders to try to obtain another key, but it wont give me another one. Do I need to restart this quest completely to finish it?

Ewww, now that sounds bad, it's quite possible you do. You could try petitioning first though and see if a GM can help.

I just added a fix that will allow you to loot them again if you accidentally destroyed any of the Expedition Keys and are on the stage requiring them to open the chests.

Wow! Awesome fix!Any chance of a fix for Black Box Mechanimation?Finbert Lintzig doesn't give you the materials back necessary to complete the quest, despite the dialogue saying so. This quest is unfinishable.

With a 10 minute (15 maybe ?) spawn for 4 different names who did not always show up a group of six could literally take days to do this as well as monopolizing the area for a long time. The minimum time to camp just those four so everyone gets a key is 4 hours if they all spawn with no ph in between

Anything special you need to do, to get this starter from him. Im evil and he won't even give it to me. He just banters telling me "Your not quite ready yet" but I'm 80 I think I can handle his quest

Thanks

I've done it as a Freeport citizen and a Gorowyn citizen without issues. He does have a somewhat extensive dialogue tree, and you have to follow it quite a ways until you get the dialogue option to ask about whether there were any great dwarven battles... and then, a few lines later, tell him you want to honor and serve.Beyond that, I've never had any problem, (until they broke the quest, naturally).
