Lvl 38 pet out-taunting Lvl 52 pet

<p>My wife and I were grouping our Necro's the past 2 nights. She's 46 and I'm 54. We both have Adept III tank pets (hers is the 38 and mine the 52). We both use the Defensive stance/spell/buff on them. </p><p>The problem I noticed was that even though my pet would get the first few shots in before her pet would attack, her pet would ALWAYS pull the aggro from my pet. </p><p>I thought I saw a mention of this somewhere in this forum, but must be blind tonight, because I can't find it.</p><p>Anyways, does anyone have an explanation on why this would happen? </p><p>Thanks!</p>

<p>well you can easily compare the pets. Just control them and have a look at their taunting / damage skills and see how they compare against each other.</p><p> On a different note, with 2 necros grouping, you should not use 2 tanks. Use the 52 one yes, but the second pet out should be either scout or mage - depends un usability. You're missing out on a lot of dps because of your setup.</p>

<p>I thought about the DPS pets, but we don't group that much with these characters. We were just doing some Heritage quests for a couple of days. And the quests weren't that high. And since our mage/scout pets being app1 and our tank pets being adept 3, I felt this was the best choice.</p>

<p> I do remeber the old pets pre DoF were argrro holding machines in the back day..... The only logical explanation i would guess is the part of the game content your dealing with. EQ2 balanced , DOF player dps threw the roof , KOS, Mob hps boosted alot , EOF , Mob dps/resists/hps boosted alot , ROK . "dramasation ----->Theshit like a ton of bricks!!! weres my pet?!?! RUN RUN medic!! medic!! LOADING PLEASE WAIT...........</p>
