I saw a level 70+ character who had active icons of every harvesting ability that said "Exquisite Mining Skill: Reduces harvest time by 2.5 seconds". Does that come from the highest end tinker tools or is there another way to get it?

As a half-elf, I'm assuming that with my 1 second harvesting bonus, I only need to get tools that speed up my harvest time by 1.5 or 2 seconds and I will max out at 2.5.

Thanks!

The Tinkered tools and Tier 8 redwood harvesting tools that woodworkers make both give 2.5 sec harvesting time. The tinkered version is better since they cover two skills for one item.

They don't stack either. If you got a tool with 1.5 second reduction, then it overwrites your natural racial ability. You would only harvest items 1.5 seconds faster.

Are there T8 Tinkered harvesting tools? I've only seen the Overclocked versions that require level 65+ in an artisan skill. Are there tools that require level 75+?

The tinkered ones go off tradeskill level so if you're not into crafting you have to stick with the woodworker made.

I just want to mention that i think there is a hard cap of 2.5 seconds on any harvesting time.
