What does the M1 upgrade do for the spell? There was no description. I saw it on broker for 5p and decided to snatch it up anyway. I'm thinking it's more powerful like charm?

Average hits on it in a raid situation change from 261 to 297.

In theory you can get 20 hits from the puppets that come out if the mob doesn't aoe and you get them pointed at the mobs back the whole time. In reality I usually don't see more than 8-12 hits.

In my opinion if you don't have a nice clean back of the mob to point at then you should not be casting this spell. You also lose hits in the travel time it takes them to rush up there, so you get better results if you're in melee range with the mob.

I wish they would change the spell to be like warlock's broodlings at the very least, where it's just pulse damage and doesn't require a melee hit from a dumbfire. Or if they counted as part of the group and so received buffs like haste and melee proc's. Then it'd be worth casting more often.

I love to use it on aoe mobs to get the reatice triggers up, sometimes at least.

Reactives don't trigger on kill shots.
