After finding the tablets and returning to indigo, the quest says I need to speak to the henchmen of Seaside Manglers and eliminate their first line of defense. Yet, nothing happens and I can find no Seaside Manglers.

After you talk to Indigo, turn around. All those non-agro mobs surrounding him are the Seaside Manglers, talk to the ones farthest from Indigo (farthest being very relative, we're talking about a matter of a few game feet here, it's the outer ring of them) and it will start the timer on the ring event to kill them all.

What I'm saying is that nothing happens. There are no drolvargs surrounding him. When I finish his dialog, the timer starts, but there is nothing to kill except for the regular drolvargs. I checked eq2i and allakhazam's before posting here--I already know the quest i bugged, and I wanted to let people know. Allakhazam's even has a picture of indigo with his henchmen, so I knew what I was looking for. I'm simply hoping that the next downtime will reset the encounter.

The ring event was there, as it was supposed to be, so I don't think the quest itself is "bugged", or else if it is, it's only on your server, or it's intermittent, or some other such wierd thing.

Did you try checking back? Maybe someone failed the quest and it left the ring in an incomplete state and it will reset after 20 mins or so. Just an idea.

Is it possible someone came along and killed all the non-aggro drolvarg that're supposed to make up the ring event? I've had this happen before, on the Threeko quest in Fens. Someone had come and killed all the hypno-globs that surround him, making it impossible to advance the quest (you have to kill the globs before Threeko will respond to you, and the globs don't seem to respawn until Threeko despawns and respawns).

It still sucks, and I'm still hoping the downtime (tonight, I think) will fix it, since I've gotten no word from a GM.

I also found that if you are camping the area waiting for Indigo and you hail him as soon as he spawns (without letting all the Seaside Manglers spawn too) then the timer will start with no mobs to hail/kill.
