Hey everyone,

I'm sure you've seen alot of these posts by now but i figured i'd post and see if i could get some help. I just looked over my 2 AA lists, and i know i want mana burn after looking over the soloing guide sticky, but how important is the Sorc AA list? should i bother with it? or should i just stick to the Wizard one. i'd really appreciate some input as i'm kind of confused about this hehe.

Neadric

Crushbone Server

Good question. Personally, I went for Manaburn first and never regretted it. then went to the Sorc line down Stamina and found that my survivability has greatly increased for those times the mobs reaches me before I nuke him down. Im glad I secondly with with the Sta line, very glad.

I have read a lot of posts trying to figure out and respec my aa's myself. At least at higher levels, sometimes in groups, and especially in raids, manaburn is NOT the way to go. It takes a long time to cast, you wast aa's one useless abilities to get it, and once you use it, you have no mana left. If you parse your damage, you will do more dps with aa points in other areas, and not using manaburn, than you will by having spent aa's in that line, and using manaburn (that is the mathmatics of it all).

Most higher level wizards have either posted or given me the following advice:

Priority 1: Wisdom and Agility aa lines. They have the biggest impact on dps. Follow those up with Str. line if you want to remain focused on dps.

Priority 2: Ice line, then followed by fire line (maybe reverse the priority if you are still below your 50;s level wise). They lower recast timers, casting time, resistability, and improve damage. As you level, the Ice line is significant because it will allow you to boost not only our spell damage, but also the other members of your group with the right combination of choices.

That is my two cents based on spending a lot of time on this question these past couple of months.
