Epic weapon/item quests

<p>Where are they?</p><p>The epic items were a major selling point for the expansion, I have trawled the developer chat and can not find any explanation as to where they are. They have sad Epics will be in (and complete) during the next update which we should have towards the end of January.

It will be interesting to see where the epic questlines take us and when they actually make it in game. I have heard soon(tm).

<p>As a bruiser I am really not looking forward to these for the simple fact is I have every expectation that its going to be monk orientated and I am sick to #$(*ing death of using Monk hand me downs.</p><p>I will be very very very surprised if this is not the case and will apologize immediatly....however that bleak view dominates the world I live in sooo....Im thinking Im dead on the money.</p>

I heard a rumors about those EPIC quests lines.It said:" You should have finished Claymore and Sword of Destiny quest line to start EPIC quest line. "True or false?Marie-Ange

I doubt it but I wouldnt be surprised that you need to have finished To Speak as a Dragon and likely most or all of the Mysterious book quests for thier languages.... plus tons of Ally faction...

"True or false?Marie-Ange</blockquote><p>I would tend to disagree with this as well.</p><p>I don't think I can recall any instance of a "signature" quest requiring completion of something in a previous expansion to start.  Claymore was not dependant upon Prismatic, and SoD was not dependant on Claymore.</p><p>Also, they did sell RoK as a package, and included all of the old content.  Anyone new would have the content available, but would have to stop and do the other questlines before even starting the new one?  I don't think even SoE could see this as good business practice.</p>

Phew!Thanks all.Claymore for the time invest versus reward is totally obsolete with RoK content.  I know doing great quest line, is fun and rewarding.  Could give a sense of prestige or accomplishment, but that rumor had almost kill my "anticipation" of doing the new EPIC quest.  You give me better hopes for that EPIC than before.Marie-Ange
