I am a Neriak citizen, where do I get those nice little quests where I gained status for Butcherblock?

If your refering to the dwarves they have an outpost near the NE corner of the zone, They have quite a few single and chain quests for rep. You can also grind it on Yarpsnarls and Bugbers. Your quests will lead you to these creatures.

As said before. Dead kobolds pay well and almost all quests give status. At least all in and around irontoe west and east. There are a few very well paying quests (10k+) inside Kaladim. But those are 65+ or so...

Status or faction?

Status, I think thats the name of the stuff I need to get the cheaper horse I was getting quests in the Neriak newb area for it, can't seem to find it in BB.

Okay... the other posters are confusing faction with status.

The quests you're looking for are called writs. If you sort your quest journal by category, they can be found under City Tasks.

In Neriak, the various teir writ givers can be found in different locations.

For tier 3 (levels 20-39), the Writ giver is named Laexae K'Oziana. She is located on the second floor in the Library of K'Lorn (-712, 24, 229).

Unfortunately, none of the tier 3 Neriak writs take you to Butcherblock. They all require mobs from Fallen Gate or Nektulos Forest.

I haven't checked, but it may be possible for Neriak citizens to do Gorowyn writs in Butcherblock. North of the BB docks, on the right hand side, you will see a ramp leading up to an area with some Sarnak NPCs. Check them for quests and writs.

Good luck!

Your writs are in Neriak. I believe that once you hit a certain level, the writ giver changes from in front of the Indigo Brotherhood to another area of Neriak.

However, you should be able to do writs for Gorowyn (not certain of this, but it should work the same as with Qeynos/Kelethin). You won't get the increase in Gorowyn faction, but you will still get the status. One of the Sarnaks at the Gorowyn griffon camp would be the NPC to talk to.

I was doing the BB questlines with a guildmate last night.

He is a Neriak citizen and was not able to get any Gorowyn writs.
