Hi, i was wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

I hit lvl 66, and scribed my new master 1 tank pet. it seems to me that he must be bugged.

He doesnt hold agro at all, and i mean at all. if i pull with Death Rot, he doesnt ever get agro from me.

I also notice he never uses any mana, none. I bugged it, but was wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

My prior tank pet seemed fine, so i am thinking it is just the lvlv 66 pet.

Can anyone confirm this for me ? or is it just my toon

I'm 68 and have the M1 pet and the M1 defensive stance. He's using mana and holding aggro pretty well. The only thing I've noticed is that my perceptor's command isn't always 100% (more like 95%). I haven't looked closely at the combat logs. But all I can figure is that maybe it requires him to hit the mob first before PC goes into effect.Anyway, different issue from you. If it isn't a bug, the only other thing that I can think of is that the defend self & defend master buttons are turned off.

EDIT: And I make it a habit to never pull with damage spells. I either send the pet in and bring the mob back. Or if they're social critters, I'll body pull like a tank would. When the mob comes for me, I'll backpeddle a bit and then send the pet to attack.

They do taunt.

My experience with my 70 conjuror was that the tank pet up to the level 50 one lead off with a taunt so grabbed agro immedietly... after 50 though the taunt was used 2 or 3 spells into its cycle so it didn't grab agro immediatly, most likely thats what is happening.

I'm guessing you have Unflinching Servant activated. This Buff prevents your pet from using any Combat Arts.

If you are going to pull with a spell use your lvl 1 rot spell. But be warned , if you crit it will crit as if you are using the spell of your current tier and your pet is gonna be a tad bit late on grabben aggro but not much . If your gonna pull threw a wall.... use you lowest lvl aeo.

I almost always use body pulls and manually send pet in to intercept , then have him fefend himself after he grabs aggro. Sending the pet in about 5 feet before the mob passes the pet is 95% fool proof becouse your pet almost always swings his sword once before he does his taunt. That is why If the mob it passes your pet before you have him intercept, hes not gonna intercept before you get hit again.

Remember the #1 rule is YOU are support for your pet and you can always get your life back expeshally if you have tainted heals to keep your pet up while you recover. The only time pets will have aggro issues is when youre , for example, using a t7 pet on a t8 mob or using your snare spell, "for some reason thats a huge aggro spell and often not worth the little extra dps". Also dont spam coil...let it run its course.

I jokingly say to myself , yup my pet knows hes gonna be replaced soon and isnt giving it his all anymore lol. Poor depressed pet :p

Mobs can resist it though, even if its at 100%.

Because I do have it activated and noticed that pet is losing agrro veeeeeery fast!. I thought that is because I'm doing something wrong, since before his aggro was very good..

EDIT: Nevermind. I have searched through forum and found many topics discussing this spell... How was I blind! I suffered from several deaths last time because pet couldn't hold aggro...
