Returning after 2+ years away - just wondering a couple things that I couldn't find an answer to.

1. What level can I use mounts (Assassin and Necro characters)? Can I use any vendor mount that I can afford (besides the ones that require status)?

2. Do movement speed buffs stack with mount speed increases?

3. Both of my characters are right at level 20 now, and playing out of gorowyn. Is butcherblock the best place to go, or should I head somewhere else? (Actually, did all TD quests, and am finishing up the few Darklight woods quests that still give exp/aaxp)

4. Are there any "new" armor quests to do in the lvl 20-30 range? I really liked the rewards I got for questing in TD...heading back to antonica for the AQ's would probably not be an improvement.

5. Is there a list anywhere of the "quested" house-pets? I know about the vendor bought ones, and the vet. reward ones...but can't find a list of the quest reward pets.

Thanks in advance for the replies. Sorry if these were answered elsewhere already - I couldn't find them with a few cursory searches.

1. Any level. I bought a horse for my level 10 alt without any problems.2. No, as far as i've been told, no speed buffs stack with mounts which seems to be the reason some of the higher level PvPers go mountless for the SoW + totem stacking which lets you run faster than the fastest mounts (fastest mount bein 50% i think?).3. Nektulos, Thundering Steppes, and the Froglok timeline are other options. Butcherblock seems to be the most popular on my server though.4. From lookin it up, I haven't really seen any new armor quest lines, just a piece here and there. This is likely due to mudflation. TD was part of the expansion and with most MMOs, expansions always implement gear with stats that are ridiculously good compared to old world gear. And there doesn't appear to be any RoK zones to go after you finish the TD lines.5. Haven't looked. I haven't found a solid site with a searchable EQ2 loot database yet. Some of them seem very incomplete resulting in things like giving me lv80 raid loot when I search because it's missing the level requirement from the database.

You can still do the armor quests for the XP and AAs that you'll get from it, as well as having a matching set of equipment (instead of a hodge-podge of looks and colors.) Just throw the pieces in your Appearance slots.

For actual upgrades, your best bet after Gorowyn is the Mastercrafted gear, which got a significant upgrade with GU 41.
