Hi all,I have been away from the game for over a year and now I got back in and wanted to start on my Deity first. I'm a lvl 70 Paladin with 50 AA points (since I quit before Faydwer), so I only have KoS Equipment. Somehow I can't beat the final Trials of the Truthbringer, I don't know why I'm so weak but at the end fight I manage to beat the first ghost but shortly before it dies the second already spawns. I managed to kill the second but by the time he died I had the third and forth on me and I just couldn't beat the third before I died. I tried it 3 times now without any luck. I tried 2h defense stance, offense stance and 1h + shield + offensive stance - no luck. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Am I missing equipment from Faydwer or is it the 50 (well now 90) AA I'm missing ?

It been a long time since I did these but I do remeber the last trial being pretty hard. I think at the time I had around 60 AAs and was in mostly KoS fabled.

The way I approached it was to burn the first mob down as much as possible but as soon as the second poped I switched to that and let AEs take the rest of the first mobs' hps down. For this fight I also used crit, power and heal potions just to get that little extra boost. It may however just be a question of getting another level or 2 or a bit better gear.

Krussh

78 paladin of Faydark Knights (Splitpaw)

well thanks for the info - I didn't even know there are any of these potions in game. Maybe these will help. But right now it's impossible for me to do.

From what I remember, you only have to stay within the circle. Accept fate and prove your Valor in the face of overwhelming odds, do NOT step outside the circle and the ghost should come and revive you (I think he also repairs your armor).Extract from EQ2 Wiki guide:

Trial of Valor. Once you start the trial, you are attacked by progressively more difficult waves of Knights until you are overwhelmed and die. Do not revive. You will be resurrected and Sir Bayden will appear near you. Note you must kill at least 3 knights to pass the trial, otherwise you will not be revived.

Don't leave the ring of blue torches or the trial is a failure and you cant repeat at once. They send you away. I don't know yet how long it will take to restart it.

Hope that helps.
