<p>Hi I just started the other day with the 14 day free trial. Yesterday and today the game keeps crashing on me. Much quicker now that I ramped of the graphics to see how much of a sexxy game this is.</p><p>Well the error is wierd. It says that DX9 has ran out of memory. Hrm this makes me ponder could it be DX9 like it says? Well I dont think it is. See the error says that its from the E: drive.</p><p>The E: drive is my HP Recovery driving and well its locked. It only holds reqired programs for my computer to run and in the case of utter death of my C drive. I can recreate everything or copy any vial programs off of it.</p><p>The error kinda goes like this (forgive me I didnt write the whole thing down)</p><p>-----------------------------</p><p>E:crapmorecraphprecovery([Removed for Content]?)DX9DirectX9MEM_CASHE (2391):</p><p>has run out of memory.</p><p>------------------</p><p>So ahh I noticed when I increased the graphics that hey it dies faster but my question is do any of you know of this problem and knows how to fix it?</p>

<p>Check out the technical assist forums but I'd say just bump down the graphic settings.</p><p>Also does it only happen in certain zones...like Neriak?</p>

I have no idea. Im only doing the 14 day thing right now. I have 1gig of ram and a 512 graphics card so it would be strange if thats the issue but seeing as I play LESS before it crashs I think it wouldnt cure the problem but if I get over an hour its no big deal right now.

Generally it happens if my graphics settings are too high for my pc and then I got to a city.It also used to happen when I had a bunch of processes running in the background. This leads me to believe that you either have you graphics too high, or something is hogging your system resources.

Thanks I'll clear my task manager first. It might be my Visual Stuidos. Then I'll give it another try. If not ill dumb them down.

Ya you'll deffinately want to check the technical help forums because I believe this is a common issue that has been happening for a while now.  I know that when I was in beta for RoK I ramped up my graphics settings to Extreme Quality and there was a huge pause.  It was about 10-20 seconds later I got an error saying my memory had been exceeded.  Have a 3.2 gig processor with 2 gigs of ram and a 256mb ati 9800 pro card.

<p>Ive been searching that but no clear awnser was givin. Just "Try these one hundred diffrent things" and the reply "Ok thanks it worked!"</p><p>Not very....specific. Sadly clearing out my task manager did nothing.</p>
