for master spells, first try and upgrade all your wards, debuffs, and heals first (mainly in that order). you will most likely be relying more on your wards then direct heals, and all of those before your DPS.For gear, look for anything that procs group heals while casting a heal spell. (overflow, shelter). This will GREATLY increase your healing across the board with just a tiny bit more effort.for the master choices, I chose the debuffs. If you take the tendrils master II at T7, that doesn't get upgraded in T8 so then you can have 2 master II spells for T8. On the AA lines, I went soul ward, hexation (to get the buff increase proc rates), and I've got the cannibalize. I've like to play around with that and am thinking of maybe dropping that for the curseweaving. I don't know yet though, or whether i'm going to have a power issue if I drop the cannibalize line. On the shaman side of AA I've gone Str, wis, and starting the sta line. Different shamans choose different lines though, so I'm not really sure what is best. I would not recommned going down the str line until you have enough AA's to go completely to the end and get the immunity for the dog.Another good thing for raids (and people will thank you later) is get ACT parser. After while you'll figure out timing for Major AoEs and you'll be able to plug them into ACT to give you a warning just before they are cast. If you time it right you can drop your group ward on your group just before it goes off and save yourself alot of healing. (and the group from some deaths)
