Howdy, im new to this game and the swashbucklers seemed like a fun class. But im also drawn to the iksar as a race to play, do they make good Swashbucklers or would stats make them crappy and i should choose a different race?
Try it and see how you like it, starting stats for a race mean very little in end game, 10 points of stats difference as a starter means little when you have over 800 strength in end game, what you want to look at is the racial traits, my advice is to pick a race that gets melee crits and plus to either slashing or piercing these would be put to best effect for end game.

Race honestly doesn't make any huge difference for adventure leveling or tradeskilling. Take whatever class and race you want, and enjoy the game : )

Happy Hunting!!!

Iksar would make TERRIBLE Swashies. They're just not sexy. They're scaly, ugly, lizard-looking things. Nothing you can do to cover it up, either; it's like dressing a pig in silks.

Besides, if you insist on this course despite the total lack of hawt-ness, then remember: you have to start as a Brigand, & betray to Qeynos. If you really wanna put up with being a Brigand for any length of time, well, that's your decision.

Now, if you really want an evil race that makes good Swashies, then your basic Ratonga is the way to go. I mean, yea, they're bipedal mice. But they've got a certain style & flash to them, a little "Rat-itude", if you will. & besides, they're kinda cute, & they're at least warm-blooded.

Not 25% increased trigger chance on poisons. So say a vial of caustic normaly has 100 triggers with rat or DE it becomes 125 triggers. Its a money saver is all it is a a trigger chance increase would be a dps increaser (bufs from mystic, templar, dirge or warlock)
