I believe there is a bug when using a carpet with a sarnak model. You might want to do a search for "leaning" and "carpet"

I've noticed this ever since RoK came out. it's not just the transport carpets, the quested carpet you can get in DoF does something similar: it no longer animates and does the "front end curls up" thing when moving, it just freezes where it was when you started moving and stays that way until you stop. It's not just with sarnak models either, it does this with kerrans, erudites and high elves. I think it's a bug they introduced and haven't gotten around to fixing yet. It's probably a low priority since it's purely cosmetic and doesn't affect you actually using the carpets.
