Hail!I've been gone some time (well over a year and a half) and honestly never got far with my prior attempts to play the SK class. What drew me back was the Sarnak race, so the order of the day was a Sarnak SK (I've never gotten over my DE SK from EQ). It's a blast playing the game as it is now and TD is a very cool starting area so far.Anyway, the point of this thread is some advice in the way of Achievement and Racial Traditions. After a number of searches thru the EQ2 forums and on the web I was only able to find limited information on the practical usage of Sarnak racial traditions (which are the best for which class and which are either broken or just a waste).1) At 10 I went with "Break Will" as I figured the 2% reduction in resists would really pay off, was this a poor choice?2) Regarding Achievement, what are your choices? Any information as to the best course of action is helpful. I plan to solo most all of my career if that makes a difference.Thank you!

TD is a great starting zone and you should try to complete most/all the quests for the great items. Most all are no-trade, but even if you don't need a particular quests reward, many have multiple quests with increasingly better rewards.Anyway, the point of this thread is some advice in the way of Achievement and Racial Traditions. I like the Fire Breathing, great for multi mob fights (works on multiple solo mobs as well). Also grabbed the 25% reduction in fall. My main is a bruiser, so used to jumping from high up and not worrying, deadly with alts. Plus our starting city has many jump points. I'll probably also get the 2% crit and +5 crushing. Many of the others aren't much use to an SK imo.2) Regarding Achievement, what are your choices? Any information as to the best coarse of action is helpful. I'm at 4/4/7 now, and I love it. After that, I'll probably head down the SK Reaver line. Basically adding lifetaps to many of our spells which never hurts. Reaver, the end ability, gives you 2% life back for every damage spell you land on your opponent, at the cost of 1% every 6 seconds (correct me if I'm wrong, having never used it).

After that, not sure where I'm going with AA. Good luck and hope this helps a little.
Thank you!

Thanks for the info Ulrik!I am seeing a lot of advice about locking my combat exp @ 10 to maximize my AA gained while questing. Any further thought on this?

It's not for everyone, but I locked about 60-70% of my SK's time from 10-20. That's why he has 16aa already. He ran out of quests in starting area and even took a tour of the common lands for exploration and named AA exp.

Basically, if you want to lock it nd leave it for good, there are enough quests to do so...but that takes a looong time in multiple zones of same lvl range. I just did it now because it's still very quick leveling early on and getting 68% spell crits with a young character seemed worth it.
