<p>I did it.. HA After a few weeks of playing with puppet master and being really really disappointed I been thinking about what would be a better spell. Constaintly checking the boards and reading up on stuff I think its plain to see that we are a DPS class with some nice group buffs and crowd control. This is of coarse my opinion. So I was thinking. How about a Spell that takes 1/4 of the groups mana Like the SK spell bloodletter does towards HP's, But instead of it Healing us, It turns that mana into a Direct Damage Mental spell. Like Mana Burn or Lifeburn. Like Bloodletter it can only be cast in a group of 3 more, and Group members must have over 30 percent power to Support spell. It Also has a recast of 5 mins. </p><p>Ok how about that for a nice well rounded Spell? </p>

Yep, I think it would be a bit rude to use other people's power for a manaburn too - especially in the MT group.....There have been a few good suggestions on EQ2flames, personally I'll take whatever crumbs we can get - even something as EASY TO CODE as just upping the damage on Puppetmaster. Or better, make puppetmaster a real pet - its a bit silly that on raids shamen and templars get better pets than we do. It copies the look of your target, how about a few spells .....Given the disparity between enchanters DPS wise, our level 80 spell could have been, nay SHOULD HAVE BEEN a proper MAGE LEVEL damage spell and I doubt anybody would have complained much (well except illusionist, but it would be nice to see a few betrayals in the other direction <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />)

I know I was just messing around.. and Rude well I dont' think it would be rude we give it... so I feel its only right we can take it back when we need it. I agree with upping the DPS of Puppetmaster and adding a REactive when they are killed they turn into Little bombs that do massive DD like 1500 each. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Problem is that this is just not a needed while grouping unless it is a small group with just a mage or two.
