Ok, I am getting really upset with how I have talked to serveral guides on my server and how they were going to update there site with more info on events and what not. Well, it's be over a month since 3 different guides has said they were going to post the days and servers they were going to be hosting events on and still nothing has been posted. I know that one time they had few months back I came to it and there wasn't many others who came so if the reason why they don't post anything is because so they wouldn't be swamped with a bunch peeps for these can't be the reason for there wasn't many who attended this event so please to all you 'Guides' who run these pretty please update the wed site and post time/day/server on more consistant basis, not once in great moon.

Never seen it, and have been playing soe games since 1999, was a senior guide in eq1 and eq2 until recently also

I've never seen guides/GM's announce a live event ahead of time either. It would be a bad idea, imo, because so many people would enter the zone it would probably crash (or instance) and, even if it didn't, there would be too many people crowding the guide/GM that it would be difficult to know what is going on or interact with them.

I feel that live events should be expected in a general sense, like the foreshadowing of Bloodline Chronicles with the Plague event, but not scheduled with a time and place.

Here's the site I go to get info from. One time few months back they actually mention day/server/time they were going to be there. I can see a possible big mess of peeps showing up but this one time they did there very few so what's wrong with of few times they do visit a server of the one time they can give time/day/server especially with halliday events? I know they visit more then once. I am not sure how many are really interested in these kind of events but it shouldn't be such a fluke that 1% of population get to go to it and 99% misses it either.

http://www.station.sony.com/guideprogram.vm
