The CA description said it has a root-effect and the CA last 3 mins.

My questions are:

1) Does the root-effect last 3 mins?

2) Do rangers have other root-spells with good long durations?

thanks in advance.

It roots the mobs in the encounter, then snares them when the root wears off.Not 100% sure, but I believe any root/snare effect have a chance to break on damage. We have another root, but again, can break on damage.I use the trap primarily to slow a tough mob down either right away, or will kite and if snare/roots failing, running him through it. Most often, I run them into it right away.I also use it to park mobs in a multi-mob encounter to help maintain distance for ranged CAs.
