Deity Bertoxxulous..........

<p>Evening all!</p><p>Well , I did some searching around about the "Gods" and think I'm gonna pick Bertoxxulous but if you think as a Necro thats not the best choice please feel free to say so.</p><p>Anyway , after all my searching either I missed it , cant find it or I looked in wrong spot. Once you pick a God can you change it if you dont like it?</p>

<p>Yep, you can switch to another God. Of course you will have to do all quests for the new God as well.</p><p>I personally picked Innoruuk - because he is the God of Dark Elves and because there were no Berty around that time <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Was thinking to switch to Berty but don't see a point yet.</p>

I picked Bertoxx as well but I suspect that after talking to some ppl. one idea is to take Sol Ro get the cloak then switch to Bertoxx since the Bertoxx cloak is pretty useless while the Sol Ro cloak is one of the better cloaks out there. It's more work but might be worth it.

I think that the cloaks are pretty high end items since according to eq2i (eq2 wiki) you need to complete 5 deity quests to get the cloak. The item is listed at level 67.

It's more work but might be worth it.</blockquote><p>Don't trust in "up to" damage modifiers so much.  At end game +600 spell damage is pretty easy to obtain without raiding, that is items with the actual + spell damage mod.  A much more beneficial priority would be to increase your personal spell crit chance.</p><p>1 Bolt of Energy (+spell damage) is equivilent to approx .28 DPS1% Crits is equivilent to approx 7.8 DPS</p><p>Where the + spell damage DPS gain stays constant thru each tier of spells, the DPS gain from higher crit chance actually increases in worth.</p>
