Myself and a number of my guild friends have completed this quest but we have all be unable to collect the reward, has anyone else had the same issue with this quest?

The quest is given from Ganiz in the Plunderers Camp in the Kanzar Jungle, reward is faction and gold.

From what i've learned, if you did the quest to poison Ganiz he doesnt complete this quest....Only solution is doing this quest prior to poisoning him or deleting the quest all together. Once you've poisoned him he will not give this quest back or complete it at all.

He knows what you did last summer............

I wasnt able to turn this quest in way before poisoning him. I was told before i needed to find a chest in COM and i did that also but still not able to turn it in. Gonna try deleting quest and redo.

This is the first in the quest line from this NPC, poisoning him comes 2 quests later. The question I have is how were you able to start the "Take your own revenege" quest before completing the "Revenge for Ganiz" quest and the directly preceding quest requiring the location of the chest? It would make sense that poisoning him would not allow you to complete the preceding quests as that poisoning closes his quest line. Sounds like there was a bug which allowed you to get multiple quests out of order at the same time. If that is the case you may need to petition it and have a GM assist.

This just happened to me. Theory: I was with a group and someone else caused the chest to drop. I inadvertantly looted it and, since it's NO-DESTROY I'm pretty much hosed. Deleting "Take Your Own Revenge" from my quest journal does not help.

Anyway, petitioned and hope I can get it straightened out...

I had this problem as well last night when I finished this quest. But when I noticed Ganiz was asking me "So you haven't found it yet?" I had a look in my quest journal for another quest from him. I had the chest quest he offers so I deleted it and was then able to turn in my Revenge quest. I honestly don't remember how or why I was able to get his next quest but after finishing the Revenge quest I was instantly offered the one I deleted again. So, just delete the chest quest he gives you the key for and he'll accept the completed Revenge quest.
