Hello everyone=)My wife and I have been playing for about a month now and are loving the game. She recently made a SK, and I rolled a warden to compliment her.My question is, what would be the best route to take for making a pure healing warden? My personal objective is to have the best heals possible. We are not concerned about raiding, but down the road, if we change our minds, I can always respec. We are currently lvl 18.Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Peace=)

First ... let me say that , upgrades on your spells are gona have the most effect, then +heal adornments

Second : there are only 4 actual traits that boost your heals as far as AA ....

The first 3 are the second to last ability in str, agi, sta druid tree.

All take 20 AA to max excludeing shapeshift

The other is on warden tree ..."Enhance spores" .. You get your first one of these spells at lvl 35.

Imo i would go for str line right now ... but doesnt sound like you want to worry about doing dmg.

Im sure there will be alot more opinions for you , so ...maybe wait a day

Pure healing so far is Stamina and Agility from the Druid line. From the Warden line it's all the things that beef up your buffs and heal proc spells. You don't have those things yet at your level, so I'd recommend going down the Druid Stamina line first, going down the Warden Movement line so you can have Spirit of the Wolf maxed to get around faster, get your portals at 25.

Then start down Agility - get that done, and move on to start on the buff enhancements and heals from the Warden line. We have been discussing cures, and many of us are not very impressed with them, so I'd suggest you do those last if you are considering it (besides, at your level you don't have all the cures anyway - better to spend points on things that benefit you now because ..as you say ..you can always respec.

That's pretty much the purest healer a Warden can be. There is a heal proc from going melee, and therefore going down the STR line - but I think you'll see better results from the STA/AGI combination for the kind of playing you sound like you will be doing.

Welcome to The Pack

Thank you all so much for the input thus far. I have always believed the most valuable commodity a player could share with another is not plat or drops, but knowledge.I have managed to get a toon to lvl 20 in spellmaking, and another in alchemy, so my wife and I both have all adepts3 up to lvl 20 thus far. That helps considerably=p I will wait a few more levels *20 to start dishing the points and try the different lines recommended. Please keep the tips coming, and thank you for such a warm welcome to the pack. For those of you old enough to remember the song, i definetly wanna start singing..."....hey there lil red riding hood..." =pPeace=)
